Each year, organization around the community come together to host the Young Parent Conference, a free event for parents 21 and under to learn about community resources, parenting techniques, receiving assistance, and more. We are able to offer great advice from a variety of community members-for example, lawyers, county workers, childcare resources, parental support programs, continuing education counselors- thanks to the generous donation of their time and expertise. This day-long conference is held at Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton.

One of the fairly new features of this conference that has dramatically increased participation is the provision of free childcare- and that's where we need your help. We are looking for generous community members to donate their time and help provide childcare for the day.

Volunteers should arrive to FVTC between 8:45-9:00, with kids arriving at 9:15. You will have an hour break for lunch, and food will be provided free of cost. Children will be picked up for lunch, will return after eating, and the day will conclude at 2:00pm.

Get Connected Icon Volunteers should be between the ages of 16 and 120.
